BC Cannabis Summit 2022 - Kelowna, British Columbia

BC Cannabis Summit featuring Weed Pool, Accres, Dutchie, Eldorados

BC Cannabis Summit 2022, Kelowna, Canada - April 20th to 23st

Roll it up. Hash it out.

Reflecting upon the three days of attending the BC Cannabis Summit in Kelowna, presented by the BC Craft Farmers Co-op (BCCFC) and the Association of Canadian Cannabis Retailers (ACCRES), the summit was an absolute success. 🎉

The comprehensive three-day event featured insights and advice from industry experts, policy discussions and resolutions, a business trade show, industry networking, and special events.

We'd like to express an enormous thank-you to Jaclynn Pehota and all the volunteers who helped make this event possible. We are grateful for the opportunity given to us to connect in person with retailers, craft cultivators, and regulators to learn from and hear their stories. Here are some of the people in the cannabis community we connected with.

What is the future of the cannabis industry?

“Technology and weed are going to be a huge thing in the future. From self serve to better testing and better consumption. The technology in home growing is also going to change. The entire future of cannabis is going to be different.”

Anne Marie Locas - Okanagan Cannabis Tours

What do you love about the cannabis industry?

“I love that people are coming together to work together. It used to be so hush-hush and now everyone can openly talk about it. Now you’re finding out about all the different people that smoke it that you never thought would smoke it or partake in it.”

Gary Johnson - The Cannabis Potcast and Spiritleaf Kelowna

What do you love most about the cannabis industry?

“The thing I love most about the cannabis industry is cannabis first and foremost. As a secondary item to that, it would be the comradery. It’s the people in the cannabis industry that really make it for me. They are such a sharing, generous group of people. There’s not so much competition in the cannabis industry as rather a collective group trying to achieve the same thing. That’s what I love most about the cannabis industry.“

Jeff Curtis - Boro and Beyond

“Tell me about Boro and Beyond.”

“We’re from the legacy market at Boro and Beyond, so we just love the glass the artists make. We wanted to take the glass and bring it to the public eye because it was just such an underground thing. We wanted to make it more popularized.”

The BC Craft Summit trade show was well worth the trip to Kelowna and we are so appreciative to all the organizers and attendees for showcasing some of the best cannabis has to offer. We hope to see you all again next year!

If you missed us at the Summit but want to know more, don’t be a stranger! We are flexible in our offering and pride ourselves in empowering you with your merchandising needs. Reach out to us, we’re here to help!
