There has got to be a better way to merchandise your edibles

When was the last time you’ve walked into a dispensary and filled your cart up with edibles that made your mouth water? Us either.

But why? Maybe it’s the stale packaging, maybe it’s the inability to touch the product through the display glass. Whatever it is - customers aren’t getting excited about the product!

But how can you entice your customers to buy more edibles?

Dispensary Digital Menus Boards for Edibles

Make your customers feel like an adult in a candy store 🤤🍭🍬🧁🍫

BudSense believes your edible dispensary menus should be delightful and appetizing! Your menu should visually entice and inform customers on what’s available so they can pick the products that best suit their taste buds and their budget.

Here is an example of a category menu theme, available in the BudSense app, that was customized specifically with the edibles customer in mind.

For this digital menu design, we used three different methods to explain and communicate the difference between the types of products- Images, Titles, and Labels & Badges.

1) The Images

The colourful gummies, smooth chocolates, and funky drinks featured in the Image Cards really do get your mouth watering. Whether you’re trying to attract the chocoholic or canna-beverage lover, the use of images can draw in those customers with sugar cravings.

Look at it this way. It is a lot harder to say “No” to gummies when there’s a jelly candy placed right in front of you as opposed to reading a list of the different edibles offered. Use your digital menus as an opportunity to leverage the power of using visuals.

2) The Section Titles

In these menu examples, we used the custom titles to communicate bundle pricing deals. This section can be used to lure the customer into buying more. For example, in the Wana Edible? menu design, the customer scans the menu and can see that if they can pick four Wana edibles they will be getting a deal. If this customer is a discount customer, they may feel enticed to buy more than what they initially intended. This is a prime example of using the Section Title as a communication channel to influence purchasing decisions. In the layout of this menu, this decision is supported by the Image Card and Labels & Badges.

3) The Labels and Badges

The use of labels, and badges can guide your customer into selecting their flavour and type of edible. For example, in the Bhang Bhang menu design, the impulse customer may be drawn towards purchasing the Cookies and Cream chocolate edibles because of the New label seen beside it. The use of labels, such as this one may act as a decision-making shortcut.

Help your customers satisfy their sweet tooth 🍬🍫🦷

The use of Images, Titles, and Badges & Labels are just three examples of ways in which you can get creative and use BudSense to help merchandise your edibles in a visually appealing way.
