Remember when weed drinks hit the market?
Though it seems like they have been around for a while, the introduction of cannabis-infused beverages really wasn’t that long ago.
Cannabis drinks have been around in the legal market since January 2020. When they first launched, annual sales reached 1.8 percent market share. In 2021, Drink sales kept rising, reaching a total market share of 2.1 percent.
Aside from having more variety of beverages offered, cannabis customers have been getting more excited about beverages due to the categories major price drop.
When weed drinks first came out, Headset says the products averaged $16.21 per drink, but one year later dropped by 146 percent to $6.58. Today, the average price of a cannabis drink hovered around $6.
In this blog, we thought we’d get creative using our dispensary menu software and show you the top-selling beverages in Ontario, their flavours 🥭🍑🫐🍉🍋🍊🍃🌲, and what they look like on paper and digital dispensary menus. These Beverage products were curated from Ontario’s Cannabis Store’s top-selling Beverages list.
